Really, I'm just trying to get a bunch of my friends together for a Christmas break-type get-together, so this sounds like a cool thing to do for just that...

So register!!!  Drop me an email at djsterf@djsterf.net

Your NAME and DIVISION are all I need!

All DDR mixes will be available for selection, and seeding will take place for every division.  The songs will be sorted by the difficulty level.  You may choose any song on any difficulty level during the competition.

There will be 3 Divisions for varying levels of skill...

Novice Division {Team}:

Minimum Skill: If you have never played DDR...
Maximum Skill: Passing some 7-foot songs

Qualifying/Seeding

7 pm

If you are in this division, you will be seeded based on the number of Perfects and OKs (freeze arrows correctly done) on your choice of a 5-foot (difficulty) song.

Pairing for Teams

The LOWEST and HIGHEST seed will make up a team, and continue until the middle is reached.

In the case of an odd number of people, the middle seed will be his or her own team and their scores will be doubled to form a "team score" for a round.

Teams in the case of 8 players:
Seeds 1 & 8
Seeds 2 & 7
Seeds 3 & 6
Seeds 4 & 5

Teams in the case of 9 players:
Seeds 1 & 9
Seeds 2 & 8
Seeds 3 & 7
Seeds 4 & 6
Seed 5 (Double the Score)

Scoring

In the case of normal team arrangement, the number of Perfects and OKs of each player will be combined to form a team score to compete with the other divisions.  ANY song in the game may be used.

Intermediate Division {Single}:

Minimum Skill: Passing 5-foot songs easily
Maximum Skill: Passing some 8 and a few 9-foot songs

Qualifying/Seeding

7:30 pm

You will be seeded based on the number of Perfects and OKs on your choice of a 7-foot song.

Scoring

Each player in this division will receive 100 free Perfects to add to his or her total, adding up to a score to compete with the other divisions.
Professional Division {Single}:

Skill level: Can pass most 8 and 9-foot songs

Qualifying/Seeding

7:45 pm

You will be seeded based on the number of Perfects and OKs on your choice of a 9-foot song.

Scoring

No handicaps are used in this division, and the total score will be based on the total number of Perfects and OKs obtained in the song.
